Vorno is a macOS desktop app for working with AI agents across your real data — local files, code, email, calendars, and connected services — from a single observable, steerable workspace.

What these guides are

These are the exact guides that ship inside Vorno. The app installs them locally and loads them into the agent’s context before it touches a matching surface: it reads the sources guide before creating a source, the automations guide before writing an automation rule, and so on.

That has two consequences worth knowing before you read further:

• They are written for the agent, not for you. The register is instructional and dense — schemas, exact field names, and “do this, not that.” They are precise and current, but they are not a tutorial, and they will not ease you in.
• They are authoritative. Because the agent acts on these files, they track the product exactly. What you read here is what your copy of Vorno is actually working from.

The most direct way to use them is not to read them front to back. Ask Vorno to do the thing — “connect my Linear workspace,” “notify me when a session is marked done” — and it will read the relevant guide itself. Read a page when you want to check what is possible, or to understand what the agent just did.
